Here you'll find a freeware collection of QBasic games. You should only download those labeled as containing an exe if you don't have a QB interpreter.
Additional info
Below the program description there might be some extra info.
Programs that need the mouse can be normally loaded to some versions, but if you use fe.
QuickBASIC 4.5, you have to start QB with "qb /l qb", otherwise mouse functions won't be
supported.
Note that if you download programs you should unzip with recurse folder option activated,
and then alter the root constant or the CHDIR at the beginning of a program if needed. This has to be done if you don't include a program which contains several files into your QB main directory, or another path is specified.
Various
Green Island
An unfinished but playable real time strategy on an island. You can guide your workers around and assign jobs or build houses. It works like: to get a soldier, you need a weapon. To make a weapon you need metal, to get metal you need a mineworker, and so on. With Soundblaster FX and music.
bas + exe, mouse
Source files: header.bas, island.bas.
Robot Plague
This is a 256 colors action game where you have to hunt down escaped robots. With soundblaster FX and optional two player mode.
bas + exe, mouse
Shadow over Gnor
I tried to do a RPG with this program. This is alpha version since there is no real story.
bas + exe
Brix
Just another Tetris clone. But there's one little detail which I didn't like about the MS version, which was the way a brick would instantly fall at the bottom when you'd speed up, so I corrected it in this one.
Rings
See for yourself, it's the simple but addictive kind.
exe, mouse
Luftballons
A game for 3+ year olds. You got to crash-eat flying ballons using the arrow keys. Starts out slow, and it's impossible to loose in the beginning. Later on there's things like shooting Helicopters for the advanced players.

Adventure Script
AScript
The AScript interpreter. You need this exe file to play AScript adventures. With space you can switch speed-up on/ off.
exe
Sample Adventure
Skin of Stone is an AScript adventure to be played with AScript. This is not a stand-alone executable. It gives a good overview of the AScript features. This is not meant to be a complete adventure.
AScript
Toolbox
The AScript toolbox. Besides the AScript tutorial this includes the picture/ script converter, a sample script, and the folder structure to start with.
Setdraw
A completely mouse-driven environment to create picturesets (like tiles or sprites). This was made for AScript but can be used to create any 32*32 pictures and BLOAD them into QB (palette and sample code included).
mouse
3d
Rotation
Different wireframe objects can be rotated, you can also switch between two drawing subs.
Scenery
Shown is a house near a river and a tree. This uses 256 color mode to create a small scenery, which then rotates in steps. There's different textures and this is very slow.
Kamikaze Aliens
KA Part VI
A fast space shoot em up. You can collect bonus guns. Try to shoot the alien squad and take stolen plutonium back to earth.
KA Part V
You're trying to shoot your way through Kamikaze Alien Planet, a screen 12 game with lots of graphics. Due to memory problems this game does not work with the interpreter, only the compiled version.
exe
Pearl
Pearl 5
This is a Break Out clone where the last brick turns into an enemy Pong paddle. This has good graphics as well as some bugs. 4 levels, Soundblaster.
