This is the DEBUG/UUE script I created with UUE2DBUG. I have offered UUE2DBUG as a _prototype_ for a future version that will be more practical than this version seems to be. These are the problems I encountered so far with debug/uue scripts using them on my finicky 80286. Perhaps these problems will not happen on yours... 1.) If there are any blanks lines in the UUE portion of the script they must be removed or it debug will choke on it. 2.) Worse yet, if there are any blank *spaces* at ALL at the end of each line of the UUE portion of the script they must also be removed or it seems debug will choke on that as well. It appears that debug interprets a blank space at the end of a line of uue data as literal data to be processed. I have no idea how to circumvent this problem. These 2 bugs *may* only be bugs on my particular machine, I don't know. I'll relate why I think this possible. I have a AMI 286 with a single meg of ram, nothing that should be unusual about it *-however-* debug will NOT run debug-script files under DOS 5 on my machine, even though it's the version of debug that _came_ with this DOS. In order to recompile debug scripts I always have to boot a copy of 4DOS v4 to do it... **-WEIRD-** `eh? So... whenever I run debug against a script file it _always_ chokes when running under it's _own_ DOS. Go figger. Anyway, since there has been some interest in developing a QB port for uue-decoding I thought I would take a stab at it. If we ALL gang up on this thing I'm sure we can come up with something practical we can all use here for sharing binary files on the net, a _community_ project if you will. :-) In any case, to recompile UUE.ARJ just enter.... debug < uue.scr -----------------------8< CUT HERE 8<------------------------- nuue.arj e90 BE 00 01 8B FE 8B D6 33 DB B9 00 FE B4 3F CD 21 ea0 50 8B C8 B0 7E F2 AE B8 0D 0A AF 75 F4 87 F7 B1 eb0 02 AD 3D 0D 0A 74 FA 2D 20 20 3C 5A 73 17 24 3F ec0 D2 E4 D3 C0 AA 92 AD 2D 20 20 D2 E4 D3 C8 24 0F ed0 02 C6 AB EB DC 58 F7 D8 99 92 91 33 DB B8 01 42 ee0 CD 21 8B CF FE CD CC rip 90 g W Q ~ 8.HG`!X$`0`0``)[>XK7&`````````````````D``````%5512Y!4DH``!_Z .%P``J*0`>!`$`$`$`>XAD-Q%E`@``K`(``#H9*]\``"````!5544Q,2Y# 3TT``)W,C?4```(]8J,6-*'__W\X7EQ>"HO%)_@?!0AE)2(SK,$X1"%IE:56 '+NG<%=F_NY2\%"B$-O^>\%XJMX^>D?!W@VY!7+AA0ZDP-IF(TCX.P^"C$$F FM_9O-*HH<3:G?,%[>O[GKW5L_'@P7F'@X61`4A86'BI)P">-WWTO`-[=O[R ]N[E\Z/R"0X*N,C$'_NTQD<-,>,J0B*:@X)$LE&F?=NCZZ\A)1!F(XY('A&1 'Q*I$,9MKKMCOND[L1PR#A)8\)$E(6Z/N$\A50=(W8&N:+P8^3AI2#1(2'2# W2JG_X\1T>BG!='W,,<#&42AIFIP`!!2]IY8-2:+C7/U5.4P-=Y*R?V;]PLO P\3%BT@].B5C.`%BJ:0CA[#2&91FBRN>SY@R.8#2"!CK-(%F2.@"RWF+5I`7 %F_<YF:*TH958R*F59V0\,F.#JYU0TA$%.?!C;@=.:(OPK_?<:.%_)^AQJ5) ?[E^0+Q4ZWMR_HOQU%Q+K'ZJM"Z]>:'/[A9^I4N"S#9`J=HNUGKM7\QU5<_1 16V*@%ELL/6D+\U88!&F!9]@J_:;]`&]`%7JJ/\RC]19(F\`$@YRO%FRVUMO [+Q=N7P2VSI2T7?-'MSI?!%:Y)]9:.(`'.\'HN=T.5K9;[Z!"JQF48PE!-\T #,D,BI`WU`%K9@6'S2#!D/OC7(VE[7:+/+0]6\'.<&42NM3I3R4;+L1;?GWY M%\]1FR3N]3+F3`E46A;[!K.#79]M)2.&P,F99\@'X+6[@:2D$YQL_/M)*E6 7Y>XS2[#DV%QMT.NSZ0R.6#LMN`=V=Y:.D=38'7Q4<=),?3L[,9@ZBD`'@0! `!`!`'O48S<1>0(``-0"```\D4EN```@````555$,38N0T]-``!_QW@-```" 5FJ#%D2L/][MWD;5ZOA-#$+>X'`B?C,H,"[U4%0,3/51\?X'ZNGMN[0;=;=] Y0@@8W!7M+`BR(%P^=X'`TEW>%[DU"7`X$1#X5@-1V![C@J+DI;H7VM.#8$J BQMM.EH`[<E-<45960M&\(NREXB)K)+BZ5_VA?XDLNFJH*XMK<2JPI*<B2DM ;0D+2$A>J89!BPXPY/+\">$E=B%^6+Z@DEEE7X>_(/^,UQQEAB45,V5(I',Q Z:D?]KQ8T>.FI($-8BF#&&E'%A)J)0D.NJ*-@C,#S`!@\'Z]H8P)S!_X:0GC X38FKO2Q*IOSY;5/:;MZ$-&`O7NG!;X%"'G!ZU"'Y=U@_%LG;H+E@";``WT* $-G_W.2"Y]K?/H0SMICY0'6#[S[XL%W+#3T\X$3'@T(:YU+S!RG`EDA+D@G# /F1.^D39F1)"9/C,B*"(4UY'5-P2KO(F!QTNGLNC/N=3'A-H[U#L@Y4T,ZT/ +W`%]0%NC-$)R!6-2O<U*U;5[6HZOOUBH:4N5\-]>EOKVKTJAK43)L5F>$[& MM<X[%TJ>:7B`F1$E"06D8XSB_8!?2!LQER.=."S=9H9VN<SL/EV?4RV:MSJ -7Q$(O8+XWX?_<!'O$/S!4ZU&$/CHH#XTO<T<;;BD]AH6#%+Y`8"*!*E.;U+ [(-2F35+0USGKBB_FKF_V(W/,R3`>>=/FG`^M09^Y/N*-[>:.)8L[#.X=M^> UT\P526S5=]`7+$!>Z#:>VWF>#GAKM0?(=M#_68E@`S9S0OZ&7K7?^?TK3Y6 1Q9P7C:%9^C@/FS9N!?TTM"KIY*PM@"E9;K)7G>J%SA@BE0!@4J_==8"Y_6_ L]Y@Z@`` -----------------------8< CUT HERE 8<------------------------ Let's get some feedback... -----> MHB :-) ...
