Well, as you can see from the code I finally managed to get 400 vertical lines. What appears as GOOD at this point (I may think differently later) is that I appear to still be in Mode 13. I can exit to DOS from QB without resetting the ports and every- thing appears normal. The LINE and PSET commands still work but require a little nudge here and there. The CLS works if you switch to each video plane. I believe I could write a SIMPLE SKETCH program that would allow the artists among us to take advantage of the mode. I plan on writing a TSR tonight that will allow one to capture any 320X400X256 screen along with the palettes. I've noticed quite a few GIFs in this format and the graphics are very nice! Then the captured 320X400X256 GIF could be BLOADED into any QB program. I would appreciate any comments. Earl --- Maximus 2.01wb * Origin: Rabbit and Snake's BBS - Richardson, Texas (1:124/6108)
