STI - Set (disable) interrupt flag RETF - Far return (outta QB data seg back to code seg) and CLI - Clear (enable) interrupt flag RETF - (El ditto) ... That vertical synch sig is of insufficient duration to share part of it with system interrupts...|-} (Oh, yeah...If I can find a 4 MHz 8086/88 with a VGA system, I'm going to try that routine on it. The possibility exists that, should a flicker be evident on such a system, that moving the enable interrupts call to _after_ that key PUT will control it. At the risk of impacting time keeping, however. I probably will submit it to Dave. I'd rather risk rejection, than to see the only source of good QB/PDS material (with nary a Windows ad) disappear. And, it's free...Anybody else out there get my drift??...|-}....) --- * Origin: RadioLink! Columbus, OH (614)766-2162 QuickBasic! HST/DS (1:226/140)
