Al, the spline program works by running a 3rd order curve through the points specified... The little lady is a bit of artwork I did when I was young and foolish... have also replicated 'beer bottles'... If you take a look at the spline sub, the solution to the cubic function is pretty slick (as I recall)... As so often, it is almost never that I comment my stuff, but mathematically, the solution and back substitution is pretty slick! You can save the array's of points and by a little judicious fudging can use the returned values as extrapolations between the points in question. Regards Dik, Oshawa, Canada $$ ...
