 When you save a program for the first time, choose 'Save As' and select 'As
 Text' rather than the internal QB format.  Also, you don't say if it locks
 up when running in the QB environment, or as a compiled .EXE, or both.  If
 it locks up in the QB environment but not as an .EXE, one possible cause is
 the use of SWAP to swap elements in a TYPEd variable.
